Scarred Poetry - Slay a giant

Too many times I've made the wrong decision
Pouring out my Heart to the Lord
And I'm hoping that he is listening
They say the world's a ghetto
But it feels more like a prison
All people my people dying
Cause they lacking hope and vision
But I'm not the judge
I'm a leave that up to  Christ
Anticipating your return
Got staying up at night
I can't denie I'm lost and can't do a thing without you
But I'm certain that your working
That's why I always speak about you
I don't understand this world
I don't think i ever will
When bad things happen
I pray to keep the faith still
I know it is a gift
Your Holy Spirit showers me
When troubles try to tower me
You're always there to empower me
You are my refuse you are my roof
And salary
You give strength when I'm weak
And give me courage when I'm cowardly
One thing I've learned from you
Is to never stop trying
Give me a rock a sling shot
And I'm slay a giant

They be mad cause
I don't look like what I  been through
When God is with you
Tell me who can be against you
Woke me again so I know this day
Got a purpose
Everytime you pray
It makes he devil nervous

Being born into this world
It doesn't come with a manual
Caught inside my sin
Your salvation became my antidote
Temptation is beast
But your word will tam the animals
You catch me when I stumble
And lift me when I can't stand no more
I give my testimony
They look at me like a radical
People I know flipping on me
Like they acrobatical
I just want to do your will
Like the prophet Samuel
They think I'm what used to be
But I ain't that man no more
We living in them times
You call me the last days
You gon open the grave yard
And redeem those that are saved
I read about your miracles
To this day I'm amazed
All I can do is praise
God is good God is great
Please don't ever turn your face
I need to rest inside your shade
Cover me with your wings
Like Psalm 93 say
One thing that I learned from you
