12 Days in Paris - Who I Am

I don't read and rarely write
I hate TV cause it burns up my time
I can't bench more than 90 strong
And sometimes my mind takes some time to wander off

I don't have much money coming in
Well I've never been to college and I don't plan on it
Well I still live at home with both my parents
I make my living wherever I can get it

I'm not much a dreamy man
But this is who I am
I'm not your money man
I struggle to get where I am

But I can sing you a song when all your world is going wrong
And I'll write you a poem, and paint your flowers for your wall
And I'll call on the phone just to say I miss you
Sing you a song

I've got tattoos, Mom might not approve
And I wear tight pants so Dad will look down on me too
I listen to rock n roll, I've got myself a battered soul
Cause I lost someone who was dearly close
But we'll save that for next time I suppose

And I don't have a favorite sports team
It's just not my thing
We were younger, they got grass stains
I got callouses from guitar strings
Growing up I learned to speak my mind
So I hope you do not mind if my mind gets out of line

I'm not much a dreamy man
But this is who I am
I'm not your money man
I struggle to get where I am

But I can sing you a song when all your world is going wrong
And I'll write you a poem, and paint your flowers for your wall
And I'll call on your phone just to say I miss you
Sing you a song
