Mike Brunacini - Asbury Forest

The sun shining down on Asbury Forest
A cool breeze blew beneath the trees
A restless young pair of childhood explorers
Set out to find things left unseen

Orion went in, in search of adventure
I Jonah, a daily life escape
We walked off the path and followed the creek bed
Until a wide river took shape

We were trying to go and explore places we'd never been
There was always something new to find
Although it's still the same old forest as before
I remember seeing so much more

The river was deep so we climbed up the rock face
To find another way around
We formed our own path in the denser part of the forest
But light, the canopy had drowned

We were trying to go and explore places we'd never been
There was always something new to find
Although it's still the same old forest as before
I remember seeing so much more
