I know monsters are here

These horrific monstrosities
Plague my every thought
Beckoning me

Now a slave to a shadow void
Containing only
Hatred and rage

I cower at the thought of this place

I visit each night, knowing
I return without a way to fight

Powerless to my demons
My thoughts aren't mine to keep
Corrupted and distorted
Figures infest my sleep

I'm emotionally drained
Brain unable to rest
I fear their escape from dreams
A nightmare now made flesh

I cower at the thought of this place
Inside my shattered mind
I visit each night, knowing
I return without a way to fight

Sanity draws thin
With each passing night
I fear that I will never wake
And see the morning light

This torturous anxiety
My eternal dread
Is killing me

These pure evil apparitions
Driving me insane
My end of days

Peeling my flesh
From broken bones
Beg for the end
Suffer alone

If there's a hell
This is surely it
My new reality
