Blimp Rock - Raccoon Nation

I sing a lot about Toronto
The city some call T.O
But I haven't been totally up front and it's time you know
Some say Toronto is ugly
Have you seen it in the spring?
But I think that's been talked of a lot so I'll move onto other things

I could live in vancouver
But that's near Australia
I could move to Montreal but mon francais nest pas tres formidable
I could be a Haligonian
But I'd be lost at sea
And I have this vague thing called love for my friends and family

Welcome to the city
Where the
Racoon makes it's living and the
Lake is clean but most of us don't
Think that's true

I like to walk on the harbour front
An urban planner's delight
Though I get confused by the signals I will understand in time
They're gentrifying the west end
With fancy places to dine
And though I just used the word "they're" I really meant I'm

Welcome to the daily grind show
Cheap living is hard to find though
With time time I've found some good deals on
Take out food

There's a 9 to 5er crossing
Paths with a bike rider and they
Both think they're the ones who have the
Right of way

Sometimes I dream about
Living in a place
Where it doesn't take
15 minutes to explain how I feel about living there
