Diamantic - Scriptures

Some call yours the way of peace
Already getting on their knees
But I am not here to please
I won't be putting you at ease
No I don't mean to offend
But don't consider me a friend
'Cause I know that in the end
Your strict rules you will not bend
As you catch the insecure
Keep in mind those that seem pure
Give them reason to endure
But I don't see that as a cure
You call right what you have done
Telling how it all begun
Against such sayings I'll stand strong
'Cause I find them pretty wrong
Are there others, is it just you
How can I tell you are true
Why should I put my trust in you
My own eyes you've never seen through
When I'm looking at the stars
I'm not wondering where you are
Your wise words I've never heard
You're not part of my world
Contradiction is your vision
And the logic goes to prison
Hide your sins behind tradition
To the war you're the ignition
Give up peace for demolition
You claim being perfection
And eternal is your mission
But you're limited edition
The world has its magnificence
Its beauty is my essence
But it does not need your presence
Keep it free from all your nonsense
I know
You wish I would suffer
Think I would go under
But my head is above water
I don't weaken I get tougher
Through rubble I'm finding
The bricks we'll be using
And ashes won't stop this city, we're building
There are others it ain't just you
And I'll say it you ain't true
Why should I put my trust in you
My own eyes you've never seen through
When I'm looking at the stars
I'm not wondering where you are
Your wise words I've never heard
You're not part of my world
And you are nowhere to be seen
And you are nowhere to be seen
And you are nowhere to be seen
And you're not what you could've been
