Seven Salmon - A Walk in the Park (Remix)

A walk in the park
When I get there
There's this beautiful woman
And her little dog
So I walk up and ask her
What's his name
She says, Barney
I say
That's a nice name for a dog
Then I break her heart
And say goodbye
Continue my walk in the park
And it's a sunny day
I see an old man sitting on a bench
So I sit down and I say, Hi
He asks me if I'd like to play a game of checkers
And I say, Maybe later, not today
There are children playing at the edge of the lake
One kid falls in and the ducks and geese scatter
His mom doesn't even seem to notice
Luckily, there's someone there to pull him out
So I just continue on my way
There's a copse of trees up on the hill
So I go up there
There's a road
The cars they travel much too fast
They could hurt somebody
Maybe even kill somebody
Maybe they should slow down
It's been a good day
It's been a nice long walk
So then I turn around and
Go past the uh trees
Past the lake
Past the old man
And the beautiful woman
With her little dog
Continue on my way home
It's been a good day
Everyone's okay
Everyone's okay
It's all okay
It's been a good day
