Thompson Lane - Springtime on the Block

Springtime on the block, and a red car with no top
Traffic lights are green, in the crowded city streets
Tower homes are standing high and the park is stretching wide

Sun is shining down, from a blue sky with no clouds
It's Friday afternoon, floating by's a lone balloon
Marina yachts are sparkling white, through the park on the other side

Sun is going down, it paints a red glow on the town
The city comes alive, hear the music play inside
The bar is made of ice, the walls are blue with neon lights

The girls are dressed in leather, and a white coat full of feathers
Dancing with the men, near wooden railings on the stairs
Leading down to the floor and lining up out the door
