Deep Sea Creature - Midnight Faire

Hey, ho; nobody knows
The King is in his bathroom counting his toes
Hey, ho; everyone goes
Down to the Midnight Faire
The stars were shining and the sky was black
As we came through the village and down the track
Saw the glow in the sky and we knew we were there
At the Gather of the Midnight Faire.
The Pavilions were packed out in a square
And the Medieval Masonry, all white and fair
With flags on the turrets and torches on the walls
To light up the Midnight Faire
The Queen came down, just as pretty as a rose
With her ladies in waiting, all ribbons and bows
I'm glad to be here; let the fun begin
I'm opening the Midnight Faire
The pipers piped and the fiddlers fiddled
The dancers formed, two lines down the middle
They laughed as they danced to a likely tune
In the Moon of the Midnight Faire
The mead was flowing all around the ground
The damsels were sweet and the men were sound
And three roasted pigs were going around
In the honour of the Midnight Faire
The Dawn was breaking and the night was old
As the last ones left home to the fold
And the castle it slept on once again
Til the coming of the Midnight Faire
Old King Cole was a merry old soul
