Brian Cscott Chastain-Scott - Kingdom

I could have wrote a letter, but I felt like this would be better
Hopefully everyone will see that this is no dynasty, no democracy, no hypocrisy
I have no plans for the league, thus I'm willing to follow me or fumble me
I don't need you in my kingdom

You say you're a brother lion, only doing big things
Only kicking it with other lions
Catching all the primies
All the girls, all the boys, all the toys

All of them in their clothes and cars
But if you can't make it through your own scars
In your empire you might be a star
But you're not the brightest or the biggest if you're in love

No one will know
You'll only be missed by the people you didn't hit
By the people you didn't spit on
By the people you didn't step on

Trust me when I say I could have wrote a letter, but I felt like this would be better
Hopefully everyone will see that this is no dynasty, no democracy, no hypocrisy
I have no plans for the league, thus I'm willing to follow me or fumble me
I don't need you in my kingdom

I'll trace this with you
Not the ones held together by a string, but the ones holding your whole body together
Doesn't matter the color, doesn't matter the past, doesn't matter the type of parents
I'm still gonna be the best I can be no matter the situation

Switch places with me and show me your patience
Show me you're reliant as well
You don't have to wear mine, but I'll put you on mine
Not to do it better, but to understand it better

Handle it better, to try and help make the world better
I could have wrote a letter, but I felt like this would be better
Hopefully everyone will see that this is no dynasty, no democracy, no hypocrisy
I have no plans for the league, thus I'm willing to follow me or fumble me

I don't need you in my kingdom
I control my kingdom
I am the king and I got my queen
And I keep myself surrounded by royalty, by my family

This isn't a dynasty or an empire
This is a kingdom, I don't think you're dumb
If you choose to be a peasant or president, just stay present
Cut those strings, promise you won't regret it

Especially if you're already regretting it
You can change it, you're not a tree
Please feel free to leave
But if we stay just like a tree, please see that it still continues to grow

I could have wrote a letter, but I felt like this would be better
Hopefully everyone will see that this is no dynasty, no democracy, no hypocrisy
I have no plans for the league, thus I'm willing to follow me or fumble me
I don't need you in my kingdom

I don't need you in my kingdom
