I saw her on a starry night in a field in Panama,
She said I am on a mission as the land is cut in half
Mother earth is deeply suffering with this wound under her skin
And it was our recognition where this story tale began

And we would sway the trees and see the river in its flow
As our sounds grew together and we made its vibrance grow

So we have traveled south to north as it was destiny not choice
And I got sick in every town and she would heal me with her voice
She tried to stay in every stop but there was always something off
And so our roads got back together as we traveled further north
