Entrapment from past sins loosened the grip of your hand
Two Summers Ago my vision took a turn
Around the time that relationship crashed and burned
Two Summers Ago doors started to open
Blinded by the new I didn't see yours closing
Two Summers Ago me and my n***as inseparable
Too busy chasing that booty steak I didn't care to eat my vegetables
Two Summers Ago I was on top of the world
Blinded by the smile I was trapped, lost in another world
Where doubt reigned supreme
Vision overdosed on lean

A diamond in the rough, that summer was fun
