Fro Magnum Man - No Sun

I stay intoxicated off of misery, appearance grizzly
My grip persists to slip into darkness religiously
Although contingent on surroundings
Situations stay confounding
Voices hounding with resounding sounds within continue pounding
And my head hurts!
I've never been a man of few words
So I traverse my cursed life immersed in verses that surge
Steadily slicing through nerves, steadily perched on the verge
Of purging all my Angels letting all my Demons emerge
But I'm above that!
At least I am for now
As Long as I got some sort of substance that can boost my morale
So in the whiskey I drown
And as bad as that sounds
Trust me when I say it's best I keep these feelings corralled
The lines confined within my rhymes contain the keys to my mind
You'll find them scattered through the section where the landmines reside
Caution advised
Attempting to unlock isn't wise
You'll be surprised by detonation as you meet your demise

The weatherman's predicting rain for a couple days (I'm soaked)
The sun has gone away and locked himself inside a maze (No Sun)
The best experts are saying that it's no more than a phase
But they've all donned their umbrellas and will not put them away (They're Lying!)

Anticipating better days keeps me awake in the night
Generating new found hatred keeps me aching to fight
But the gift I was given is in the way that I talk
Lyrics in my compositions touch more souls (Soles) than sidewalks
Prepare for disaster with no recovery method
Propelling diligently forward towards existence decrepit
I'm left with questions unanswered
Left with this festering cancer
"Agressing" forward moving perfect like professional dancers
Magnificently manifesting mathematically towards casualty
A tragedy of magnitude approaches swinging frantically
My sanity randomly pulls me down like gravity
Gradually damaging anatomy
Draining battery rapidly
But I press on
My skin is like a vest of teflon
Ignore the critics, kill the gimmicks
Flip the scriptures, kept on
And as the night becomes dawn
And the curtains are drawn
I clutch the trials undergone within the grips of my palms

The weatherman's predicting rain for a couple days (I'm soaked)
The sun has gone away and locked himself inside a maze (No Sun)
The best experts are saying that it's no more than a phase
But they've all donned their umbrellas and will not put them away (They're Lying!)
