The Stormalong Scoundrels - Captain Collins

We  served a ship from the coast of Spain
Its main export wine and was fueled by our pain
The good times would fade then delayed was our pay
The work it grew hard, and our loyalty strayed...

Til we set sail to the coast of France
And it's royal navy asked to take a glance
But our holds were full of a fine stolen wine
Now we must fight or we all choose to die...

Bravely we fought into the bloody night
And Captain Collins was nowhere in sight
We fought without him til our victory
But twenty three men of ours fell to the sea...

Debt must be paid for what happened this day
The cowardly captain is who will pay
Collins was sentenced before the mast
And into the sea our captain was cast...

He shall have him a watery grave
And his soul shall never be saved
Lost adrift his spirit cursed
For our wine he will forever thirst...

Into the night we set full sail
Onward again into the gale
For plunder and glory as well
We'll sail on to the gates of hell...
