The 1982 - From Our Youth

These dusty photos
Remind me of old times
That we once knew
And the things we used to do

But we are so old now
Where does time go now?
I wish that I knew
What ever happened to you?

Where were we going to go search for truth?
Without ever knowing the way, from our youth

I can still hear their voices
As they questioned our choices that we once made
I don't regret a single thing
Now we are wise and a little bit kinder it's just what we need
I wish we never had to leave

Where were we going to go search for truth?
Without ever knowing the way, from our youth

When we were a little younger
They told us to hurry up
And grow up and to get a job
But now we do and life is scattered
So we think back to a time
When we would laugh and nothing mattered
Playing ball out in the yard
When we would race to see who's faster
Running from the dreams we had
Just trying not to make them mad
Was everything that we could do
To stay on track and avoid disaster
We lost our way

When we were a little younger
They told us to hurry up
And grow up and to get a job
But now we do and life is scattered
So we think back to a time
When we would laugh and nothing mattered
Playing ball out in the yard
When we would race to see who's faster

Where were we going to go search for truth?
Without ever knowing the way, from our youth
