Greg Orrē - Do You Live Down Here? (Interlude One)

I was down
I took a trip down to the river
I was sitting on the river rocks
And I was just minding my own business
Reflecting
Soaking up the sun
And I heard the water splashing
And these kids laughing
And these geese
Geese geese
And I turned to the side and I see these kids throwing sticks at the geese
And I said something to the kids along the lines of be nice to the geese
You know they didn’t do anything to you
They asked me do you live down here
Do you live down here
I said I live here
I guess I live here
And then they left
And I looked down at my leg and I thought I saw a leach
And then I flicked it off into the river
But it was just a small twig
And then I wrote this song
Be nice to the geese
