Schlegel Flegel & Go[ø]d Trip - She Won't See You As Her Friend

Writing down a poem, not to be revived
Said it would be ok, she'd never been alive
And when the darkness crawls to size
And when the night grows fainted white
She will be there to light a flame
It's so difficult for you, but it's all you gonna do
Not to follow her and play her game
Sitting at the table, staring at her eyes
Fainting deadly fever, burning through the skies
For all we know, this might be it
Cause soon their ways will turn and split
But she won't see you as her friend
As she watched him from a distant place
A place to hide from any soul
And now he saw the shadow in her eyes
So many years have passed away
They never had a word to say
They never spoke and never shouted out
And now they're holding nothing back
And now the blade is dripping wet
And after all is said and done
Innocence is mesmerizing
Why you're even fantasizing
