One More Onion - Divide

The tortoise is 150 years old
And he walks so slow
Walks so slow

A baby bird sits on his shell
Avoiding its time to fly
So the sun shines down upon the bird
Who's shape casts a shadow

Fly
Around the shell for the bird's shape
Changed into a dial when time moved too late
The tortoise walks and eats and sleeps
And the bird grows old trying to keep
It learned to fly long ago

The tortoise has seen many birds
150 years
And they have seen the dial
He is blind in this
It's beyond his sight a top his shell
He's doing very well

Out lived all of us
It's this divide
That we can't hide
It's one of time
Well this divide
From which we can't hide
It's one of time
It's this divide
Which we can't hide
It's one of time
It's this divide
Which we can't hide
It's one of time
It's this divide
Which we can't hide
It's one of time
