MC Pooja - January 2015

This is a true story (heh)

Of course I remember as far back
As the year that gave me those slaps
I think back to a time when I didn't know
How to move properly, get on the roll
Or how to keep a relation thing
If it ever happened, maybe a bit
I was stuck, I got caught in the nick
Trying to dismiss any chance of a fling

I knew I had to go back to a place I had always known
Everything had been thrown, I knew everything was blown
The truth and secrets leaking out like I'd never known before
Trying to move to the top floor, trying to move to the top
When the methods fall and fail, backup's needed to prevail
Push and pull that hefty weight, push and pull to chance a bail
I need to know, I need to see what kind of cloud is over me
Will I see her again? I accept this is the end

My life chances outweigh options
Feeling far away, master of consequence
Fail me, of course I would
Do to myself the way you should
Long gone is that time of life
I moved on quite quick, it was nice
For a while, there were some smiles
Overall though, I thought it was worthwhile
Fall in style

I knew I had to go back to a place I had always known
Everything had been thrown, I knew everything was blown
The truth and secrets leaking out like I'd never known before
Trying to move to the top floor, trying to move to the top
When the methods fall and fail, backup's needed to prevail
Push and pull that hefty weight, push and pull to chance a bail
I need to know, I need to see what kind of cloud is over me
Will I see her again? I accept this is the end
