Mother Sun & The Rainbow Band - Restless Fever

Looking around for a face that I found on the crowd
Stuck to my brain like a brushstroke tattooed to a frame
Waiting for her to come and take me away
To show me her place, I looked her in the eyes as I said
Turned on the lightswitch and mingled with the dust in the air
Scattered my mind in the stairway floor of hers
Picked up the pieces while I asked her where she wanted to go
She held my hand, looked me in the eyes and said "I don't know"
Crawled in this dark room when suddenly my watch just stop working
Her laugh like the thick smoke of bird bones burning and burning
Took off my coat, my scarf from the coat rack was hanging
Made an excuse, my watch batteries needed changing
She held to me with her claws stabbing my shoulders
Ran as fast as I could but she was faster, you know she was older!
Sweating the fever, the unexplained feeling of danger
Drinking the shadows of an unfinished glass of a stranger
I'm going to sleep now, don't touch me, don't push me, don't wake me
