Circumstances - Broken Soul

What's the question
Where's the answer
What am I doing here
When will I disappear
I'm not wasting
Anymore time
Dwelling on the past
The future's in my grasp

I'm plenty capable I know
But a lack of motivation
Takes its toll
A car idling in place
Will soon run out of fuel
And when it does
When it dies
It's left to rot

So I'll fight
My demons until I
Am broken down and weary like a man
On his death bed
And I
May not survive
But I'd gladly give my life to show the world
No control can lead to a broken soul

I was given every tool needed to succeed
But now they've rusted over
It was my intention to do great things
Yet here I stand a broken man

Self prescribed medication
(Has never worked for me)
Self prescribed medication
(Won't save me)
Self prescribed medication
(Has never worked for me)
Self prescribed medication
(Won't save me)

So I'll fight
My demons until I
Am broken down and weary like a man
On his death bed
And I
May not survive
But I'd gladly give my life to show the world
No control can lead to a broken soul
No control can lead to a broken soul
No control can lead to a broken soul
