el' Burro - circa ninety-five

Hey
(When the boys get together we crank out the hits
Even though it kinda sounds like shit)
I wrote a poem this morning from your point of view
And should've known how stormy the day would turn into
The rain seemed to fall
With shriveled up scrotum
The woman wants to know just how I'm coping
Hey well I'm not
Every crow in the city has gathered on the block
I paint my self a portrait while stalking with the hawk
The rain seemed to fall
With beaks wide open
Any pain involved gets washed away
The woman wants to know how delirious I am
Could you be loved in this life?
Now I'm woke, enlightened
And not so goddamn frightened
Everything known forever
Has smattered across my brain
I paint my self a portrait - it always turns out blank
The rain seemed to fall
With beaks wide open
Any pain involved gets washed away
Woman wants to know how delirious I am
Could you be loved
Could you be loved
Could you be loved
