Resolutions are in the air that may or may not get accomplished

It hasn't happened yet but it will
And I won't accomplish anything by just standing still

My tongue is the trigger and my mouth is the barrel
And these words are my ammo that travel great lengths
Always on the ready 'cause I never shoot blanks
But this ain't about guns, but it is about heat
I'm talking fire, a lighter to ignite your dreams
And you say no one dreams 'cause they never come true
But dreams don't work when they're chasing after you
You got to go get it like a drug dealer
Hustling on the corners it doesn't get realer
So dream dreams until you get enamored
Until you're waiving that white flag, I'm talking captured
Dream under the stars and dream over the clouds
And on the quietest of nights, dream so loud
That you're waking people up out of their sleep
'Cause they can feel the very anointing of God on your dreams
Dream dreams even when they doubt you
Because at the end of the day it's not even about you
It's about the lives you can touch and possibly save
And I can care less if we're on the same page
Because most may not get it and they don't have to
But you got to believe it's going to happen you have to, you have to
And guard it with your heart because people have a lot to say
Hold onto it tight and don't ever let it get away
You see, dreaming isn't just thinking
It's about seeking, planning, doing
Speaking to those mountains until they start moving
You got to dream something bigger than you
Something you can't even imagine
And you don't know how it's going to happen
But then it happens and that's when
Tears begin to surface
Because it was beautiful, it was worth it
Those countless hours, those sleepless nights
Taking negative thoughts making them obedient to Christ
And you could never pay me to compromise or stop
I've only been bought once and I'm not for sale, I'm God's
And I'm going to keep on going even on those days when I feel like I want to quit
I'm on a mission to travel and get this generation lit
And after all of this and you still don't want to dream
Then that's fine you don't deserve it
Just sit back and watch me as I fulfill my purpose
