Tahlia. - Her Story

She was the woman who walked in before
A round about a minute ago
Did you hear her or did they shut themselves off?
She just does that when she’s around them a lot
She said hello to the ones in the room
Some looked and others didn’t care
It was around this time she had no control
And in came the loneliness from the back of her head
They see her strength on the outside
But it’s the internal gas that always dies
And even though she has them all around her
She’s unheard of and she don’t hold the power
Not far from the end of a high school day
She locked all emotions away
She forced the others out of their reach
And went out to free herself with drugs and alcohol
She failed to cope with her mental state
Some knew but didn’t lend their hand
It took time for her weakness to fade away
But when at home she felt it flow back in
They see her strength on the outside
But it’s the internal gas that always dies
And even though she has them all around her
She’s unheard of and she don’t hold the power
