As the ghouls and wolves prowling
He smiled, for the sun was smiling at him
And when the heat became what any other soul would consider unbearable, he relished it
The sun was moved by his fearlessness and blazed on him proudly
Then it happened
And then it happened
Icarus, in his entirety: engulfed in flames
But he did not fall
He kept flying, having undergone a metamorphosis
Man, no more, he found the happiness which he always wished to attain
Icarus, The Phoenix was born
