The beast howls to the stars
His love has kept him behind bars
At night he creeps through the fog of the forest
Looking for prey because he is malnourished

In a clearing he sees a unicorn alone
He must make haste before his cover is blown
With one swipe of his fearsome claws
He gives this magical unicorn a final pause

Tonight the beast feasts on special flesh
It's been awhile since he's felt something this fresh
After he eats he seems to become stronger
Maybe he won't be a beast for much longer

His stomach crackles and smoke comes from his eyes
His back straightens out and his hands shrink in size
He turned into a man and he didn't have a plan
He needed to find clothes before the night time goes

So he hurried and ran to the witch's cottage
She was the one that had turned him into a beast of bondage
She was the only hope he had of being normal again
Even though this particular witch was not his friend

He saw the door to her cottage and opened it wide
And inside the witch was dead
