Camp Nottingham - Motif

Chasing girls but I should be chasing dreams
I don't know where I'm at, but I know where I sleep
Feeling like my life is tearing, like it's ripping from the seams
I was ready to stay, didn't know that you would leave

I really hate your poetry
And you hate mine the same
I'm not a fan of your motif
So look the other way

Erased me from your mind like I know you should
And I would do the same, only if I could
Looking at love as a photograph, because I know they never change

And I know people change and feelings always rearrange
And sometimes I feel estranged
I feel strange, but
You have to pay for love and I was short changed, and
Love expires and I'm always a day late
Because of my jealousy and hatred always been, my worst traits
These traits slowly turning me into the people that I hate
People that I hate, people that I hate
People that I hate
I was gonna call you about a month ago
Wondered if you'd ever pick up and say hello
Pondering what's right for me, at an all-time low
But you deserve to be free

Things I left unsaid
Things I left on read
Things I left unsaid, and
Feelings left on read

Feelings floating through my head
Feelings floating through my head
