But there're other things in my head that makes me dread
And so I start to doubt because

So let's start from the top again
School, life, and friends
Study for hours, go take an exam
Go home, take a shower just staring at my feet
Get to bed go to sleep then wake up and repeat
Just so I can graduate and spend my life working that sweet 9-5
Moving up, making money buying all these things
Just to put my mind to bed and keep quiet
And in between all that get to hang out with those I know
But those I know eventually replaced with those I don't
But I'll live in ignorance and tell myself that they won't
Because that's the only way that I've learned to cope
So why live life
If the end is always death
I put my mark on Earth
100 Years nothing's left
Of what I did, who I am, all my dreams
Life plans, my family and friends
I just don't understand
Are like dust in the wind never heard of again
Because none of this matters at the end
So what's the point and why do we all pretend
We're not all running in a race that we can't extend
And I want to be last place
Because first place is just the first to leave this broken place
Or maybe the opposite's the case
And that's something that I can't face
So I put things in my mind to replace
The thoughts where the darkest things are based
Like reliving my past mistakes
What about the time that I waste
The love of my life I pushed away
Things I do when I'm alone some days
Things my pride doesn't want me to say
My soul says no but my body says okay
That if y'all knew it would make y'all do a double take
Because I'm not all that great
And I'm sure there are many of you listening who can relate
So I find all these videos on YouTube to pass the time
Or I'll sleep to pause the thoughts in my mind
Because I know those billion things are here to stay
