1st Verse:
I remember I was sitting in my car,
Bumps all down my back, warts all on my arms,
Tears coming from eyes as I gaze up at the sky,
Hoping for something better praying for something more,
Did I, make a mistake by stepping out on faith,
I gave my life to God then my earth began to quake,
Shaking in my finances and shaking in my health,
Relationships they fell and my future looks derailed,
Lord where You at, I need You by my side,
This road is getting bumpy, my life can't take this ride,
I'm trying, I'm trying, Lord Jesus I'm trying,
Forgive me for my whining, that's just my flesh dying,
God is not a man that He should ever lie,
So if He said that He's with you, then He's forever nigh,
Near you with love and mercy and grace,
Be still and know that He’s God, have faith.

2nd Verse:
Pressed on every side but we're not crushed,
Confused in many ways but we're not despaired,
Attacked and persecuted but we're not forsaken,
Knock down by many blows but we're not destroyed,
See through this suffering our body share with Christ,
His death and His life, the righteous fight,
The same God who raised Jesus from the grave,
Will save us from ourselves, we won't be Satan's slaves,
So don't lose confidence or heart because our bodies dying,
Our spirits being renewed, every day there's some refining,
These afflictions are for moments and they're building us for glory,
A glory that's eternal, So please write this in your journal,
Jesus is our strength so no need to be afraid,
Jesus is the light that will never dim or fade,
I'm confident the Lord will always hear our prayers,
Cause even when we don't see him He's standing there.

In this life you will encounter transitions.
