The Tealeaves - The Little Ones

Where are the little ones
Their voices all in time
A rhyme we must listen so hard to hear

If I shut my eyes
And cover up my ears
The sound of all the little ones will disappear
When no one hears
The silent call

A church bell chimes
As mourners walk in line

Memory wakens a simple truth
A lesson learned
A promise spoken
Gentle word and an outstretched hand
Reminding me to think about all we've learned so far
And where we are

Where time remains
To hear the bell's song
Played for so long

Where are the little ones
Their voices all in time
A rhyme we must listen so hard to hear
