Mike Kakos - The Revolution

Lexington and Concord would begin the fight
Adams sons of liberty would start to make it right
Arnold was a leader though he was led astray
Georgy nearly lost the war if it wasn't for a foggy day

Tyranny can never win nor patriots restrained
They fought a Revolution and history was made
They suffered many winter nights but those patriots came through
They fought and died for freedom
They bled red white and blue

They Burgoyne and Clinton and Howe to take us down
But a river ride on Christmas night took back that Trenton town
Prison ships killed many more than died in war
An army cold and wearing down would give just a little more

Tyranny can never win nor patriots restrained
They fought a Revolution and history was made
They suffered many winter nights but those patriots came through
They fought and died for freedom
They bled red white and blue

Battles bleak and hopeless a nation set to die
But Saratoga wins with Gates so Ben gets France to fight
John Andre is captured John Paul's the naval rage
The English make a southern change but Greene gets them to chase

Tyranny can never win nor patriots restrained
They fought a Revolution and history was made
They suffered many winter nights but those patriots came through
They fought and died for freedom
They bled red white and blue

It all comes down to Yorktown Cornwallis he is done
The French and Georgy close the door thank God the war is won
So many souls who fought and spied who gave it all who gave their lives
Because they were so strong and brave America lives so free today

Tyranny can never win nor patriots restrained
They fought a Revolution and history was made
They suffered many winter nights but those patriots came through
They fought and died for freedom
They bled red white and blue
They fought and died for freedom
They bled red white and blue
