Justin Timberlake first enjoyed fame as a contestant on Star Search, which propelled him into a career for the Disney Channel Television series The Mickey Mouse Club. It was on this show that he met future N’Sync band member JC Chasez, before the band shot to fame in the late 1990s.

Justin released his first solo album Justified in 2002, which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Album Chart. Though the album only sold 439,000 copies in its first week of release, the milestones of three million copies in the US and seven million copies worldwide were reached. Four years after the initial success of his first album, Timberlake offered music fans his second album; titled Future Sex/Love Sounds, which went straight to number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album produced three US number one singles, in the form of SexyBack, My Love and What Goes Around…Comes Around.

Expanding his career out between the years 2007 to 2012, Timberlake starred in a number of films including Bad Teacher, The Social Network and Friends With Benefits. However, it was 2012 that saw the singer return to the music studio to pen third album The 20/20 Experience. The first single to be released from the album, titled Suit & Tie, peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart and strengthened his musical bond with co-writer for the track and close-friend, Jay-Z. Mirrors was also available in concurrence with the download of The 20/20 Experience, either as an instant gratification download when a customer pre-ordered the album or as a stand-alone single.

Within his long and achievement-filled music career, Timberlake has won six Grammy Awards and four EMMY awards. It was at the 2013 Grammy Awards that he performed his lead single Suit & Tie from the new album alongside Jay-Z; an event which entertained both the audience in the venue and those watching at home.

The follow up to his previous album, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 was released in September 2013. singles from the album Take Back the night and TKO saw great worldwide success, affirming Timberlake's place as pop royalty.
