D RiVVY - Misery Lights

Kings lose crowns, no reign lasts forever
This little endeavor is no attempt to be clever
Just another little ditty from a kid from the city
Grew up in hard times but don't need your pity
Straight hustler from birth spent my days on the block
Spent my nights on the corner slinging weed and rock
Non-stop the money was addictive
Looking for any shorty to let me come and hit it
Hand-to-hand combat was the way of the land
If you never shot a fair one you won't understand
Had a kid at 16
Wasn't part of the plan
Left school, went to work, try to be a good man
I'm still working on it
Let me know what you think
This was my Uncle writing rhymes from the mind like he was pouring a drink
I was sired by the sword like I'm Link
Ganon slamming, N.I.L. like O'Bannon, homie, we on the brink
