Jeffrey was lonely, he did not have friends
They kicked him and poked him
Teased him to no end
He dreamed of the circus all days of the year
To jump on a trampoline
And make the crowd cheer

He bought a trampoline and bounced into space
And the whole world saw him on that day
All of the lonely, the strange and the weird
Now found a leader to make the world hear

Jeffrey died that same night
Falling from that great height
His landing was not safe
He looked like a pancake
Dwarves and lions and clowns
Were nowhere to be found
But then there came a great sound
They brought the circus to town

Elephants came dancing
Dwarves were shot from cannons
Clowns sprayed men with seltzer
Lions' fur was yellow
Sometimes late in the night
If you look to the skies
You'll see Jeffrey bouncing
His trampoline pounding
