Dixon John - Green Prison
Lost in a jungle, no way out
Surrounded by trees, I hear a shout
The vines wrap me up, wrap like a sprout
I try to scream, but my voice is devout
My feet are sinking, muddy ground
I hear the howl, of a wolf's sound
The darkness descends, no light found
My heart beats fast, with each pound
The jungle's grip, is tight and strong
I search for hope, but it feels wrong
The animals lurk, all day long
I'm trapped here , with no belong
I pray for rescue, from above
But the trees block, the sky I love
The jungle's hold, I cannot shove
I'm trapped in jungle, life is tough
I search for signs of a way out
I hear a stream, that runs about
I follow it, without a doubt
I'm Trapped in jungle, let me out
My journey's long, with no end in sight
But my will to live, is my guiding light
I find a clearing, with all my might
