To the Harding's in the year, 1865
Attended Ohio Central, journalism, his forte
Then, ran the Marion Star Newspaper everyday
In '91, he wed Florence, to their new home, they would go
Had no kids, so she helped his Marion Star grow
Was Ohio Senator four years, lieutenant governor for two
In '15, US Senator, his influence grew

In '21, Warren took the presidential oath
After winning votes from men and now, women, both
He reduced taxes and raised tariffs to help businesses win
Restricted immigration to hire from within
The Federal Budget System, he improved, the bill, he signed
A world conference to reduce arms he was behind
But, some within his team broke laws, took bribes, embezzled, too
Like Teapot Dome, though Harding free of guilt, the view

Warren wasn't well for some time, but he traveled around to show
People his policies, then in San Francisco
On August 2nd of '23, his heart gave out, he died
Reviving him was unsuccessful, although they tried
He was deeply mourned as the train returned home with Warren inside
The next year, his wife, Florence was laid by his side
His legacy was the normalcy that came with his policies
Though, many feel weakness darkened his history
