Jaded Black - The Isle of Flesh and Bone

Chained, enslaved, and forced to cultivate
Virgin land to self sufficiency
No tools nor will for us to function with
Odds to live become a moral plight
An icy fate for those who flee this place
Guards intent to kill and to restore
Locked away from the whole world at large
Weakened souls, the first to be consumed
Muscles and skin from unsuspecting souls
Separated by the claws of many starving men
Those who aren't quite dead
Those that aren't alive are eaten by the savages in order to survive
Indulge, you must
Don't rest or risk your hide
The Isle of Flesh and Bone
Your life consumed
Arrangements not prepared
Led to this tragedy
Lower classes purged for the good of man?
The stepping stones they used
Ostracized then eaten whole
Order soon devolved
A reign of terror formed
They hunt us down
Through darkness, in darkness
We fear this winter and our fellow man
The guards control our fate
If nature doesn't win
They hear the pleading cries
Just to strike them down
The fragile grip of mind
With stomachs void of fare
Surrounded on all sides
A grim reality
One full year of anguish, pure anguish
We cling to our hope, our only grace
There must be someway out
It cannot end like this
The Isle of Flesh and Bone
A prison
Used with the intent to kill
You see your life will fade
Waters run red with blood
And corpses left to rot
A icy grave
A means of hate
Complacent with this scheme
The ruler deems success
With thousands left to ache
Their stories left in vain
By those who lived
And those who ate
