Jay and Bill's Unnamed Band Project - Chapter Two

Back on earth again
Jimbo says let's hit the bar
We climb out and we notice
Things look a little bit bizarre
The buildings all have vanished
Though there's a tavern up ahead
We enter and it's clear
That we are either drunk or dead

Ev'rybody's dressed
Like it's a renaissance fest
There's warriors, rogues and thieves
Drinking flagons full of mead

At a table in the corner
Is a shirtless bohunk male
The wenches drape all over him
Devouring his tale
He tells them how he slew some beast
And acts all big and tough
Then Jimbo, still a little drunk
Decides he's heard enough

He says "Now listen, mister
You may sing a mighty tune
But you're nothing to the likes of us
We just came back from the moon
The giant man stands up and laughs
His muscles ripple, flex and gleam
His long black hair shakes out
He is much bigger than he seemed

He rumbles, through a wicked grin
You think you are more manly
Step outside and you will find
Why I am called Great Stanley
The name just makes us laugh out loud
Jimbo shyly goes outside
Stanley cracks his knuckles
Jay slips off to get our ride

The tavern empties out
As they all give a drunken shout
The fight proper commences
Jimbo shuts his eyes and winces

Stanley strikes a mighty blow
Jimbo flies, his lip is fattened
Jay blazes in and guns it
And great Stanley is well flattened
We grab a keg, jump in the car
While Jimbo cries "My lip
I tap the keg and pour him some
Shut up and have a sip

It's clear that we can't stay here
So we check our rocket fuel
We have just enough for one more trip
Take a chance and play it cool
We find a cliff and blast right off
Another voyage underway
Where time and space may spit us out
Only the stars and fate can say

Tune in next time for more exploits
Of Jimbo, Bill and Jay
In outer space, space, space, space, space
Space
