He walks into the meeting

He grabs a cookie and a chair
And fidgets half the night
Finally there's a pause
The leader turns to him
He stands and takes his hat off
And says "Hi, my name is Jim
And I'm an alcoholic
And I'm pretty darn good at it
But I think it's time to make a change
I think I've finally had it

Then with a strange grin on his face
He says "One time I was so drunk
I got sucked off into space
Another time I picked a fight
In a medieval bar
And had to nurse my busted lip
In our rocket hearse to Mars

And crashed into Uranus

The others shuffled in their seats
