Opal Entertainment - Someone To Talk To

As I walked home from work tonight
I heard the faintest of whispers call my name
There was no one around so I figured it must be the moon
But as I looked up I met an old friend's eye
Mr. Orion stood clear and bright
Next to the moon he lifted his sword high
And uttered some words that I can't quite remember
But it left me thinking
If you could take a picture of the stars every night
For a thousand years imagine the stories they could tell
For you've hardly lived a lifetime yet you've seen so many stars
Who all need someone to talk to
We all need someone to talk to
I asked Mr. Orion "Why do you draw your sword?"
Looking down from the sky, he didn't say a word
He was silent, he was still, two states he had grown accustomed to
But opening his mouth the moon became quite bright
"I am the stuff" he said "that dreams are made of.
The stuff of dreams of fools like you
But those dreams are fading silently before your eyes
They keep asking for perfection without growth
But if you could take a picture of the stars every night
For a thousand years imagine the stories they could tell
For you've hardly lived a lifetime yet you've seen so many stars
Who all need someone to talk to
We all need someone to talk to
I come out at night to sprinkle this stardust
But no one dreams anymore they merely close their eyes
So now I draw my sword to remind them to dream
The ones that come from love and not from power and greed
Cause believe it or not people are still dreaming
And they all need someone to talk to
We all need someone to talk to
We all need someone to talk to"
