Daj - Rx

16 going on 30
Back when school and ball took all of my time
When I would get worried
Only hopes and dreams could ease my mind
Had days with no purpose
After all that's just what young kids do
And I know it wasn't perfect
For me, no it wasn't easy but
I made it here, right here today
And by tomorrow, I'll find a way
When I get too stressed and I lose patience
I write it down, it's like medication
Can't even lie, a lot on my plate
And once in a while, I need a break
I pick up my pen with no hesitation
Put my life on these lines, it's like medication
Hours pass at the park, when it'd start to get dark
Sometimes I'd take the long way home
I'm not pedaling too much, I wasn't in a rush
Especially when the street lights on (yea)
And I've never liked dwelling in the past
But I get proud of me when I look back
I made it here, right here today
And by tomorrow, I'll find a way
When I get too stressed and I lose patience
I write it down, it's like medication
Can't even lie, a lot on my plate
And once in a while, I need a break
I pick up my pen with no hesitation
Put my life on these lines, it's like medication
