SilentPartner - Maiden's Rhyme

If I only had the time to tell you
I`d put my feelings into rhyme and give to you
A poem subtle, yet, sublime, like everything you do
But my words cannot describe the poetry that I can see in you

If I only had the space, to fill this empty page
With the story of your grace, without this earthly rage
If I only had the time, I`d give some more to you
But my words cannot describe the wonder that I can see in you

A world like, this was never meant to see someone like you
A maiden’s kiss, upon the lips of princes and of fools
I wanted you, you said that I`d be yours and you`d be mine
The beauty in the maidens rhyme

If we only could have met, in another time and place
It would be easy to forget, the beauty of your face
If I hadn`t touched your lips, I`d forget I ever knew
But I just cannot escape, the poetry that I can see in you

I`d give my all just to be with you, see my reflection in your eyes
The sun, the moon and the stars in the sky
Slowly fade from view

A world like this, was never meant to see someone like you
A maiden’s kiss, upon the lips of princes and of fools
I wanted you, from the very start of all of time
The beauty in the maidens rhyme
