My life as a sea creature began at the bottom of the sea
A couple hours into my life another sea creature befriended me
At first I was like "hey man just go away

He was like "octopus shit! you're wrong!
We're two sea creatures and we belong
Someday you're gonna write me a song"
He started swimming to the movies so I tagged along

The underwater theater was playing Ocean New Wave
We met a creature there who plays the bass
We befriended him too/two
Creatures stronger than one three creatures stronger than two

We stayed up late and we made art
Eventually we bought a sea creature house
We expressed who we were and the way we feel
Sometimes as loud as a rocket sometimes as quiet as a mouse

Meanwhile way above the waves
Captain Ahab's cousin was looking for his next meal
He threw his hook into the water
He stuck one hand down his pants and kept the other on the reel

Our friend Jason Moroney was the first one to bite
Oh how his body seemed to take flight
We clenched our fists and started swimming to the surface
Yeah we were ready for a fight

By the time we reached the ship our friend Jason was dead
Captain Ahab's cousin was munching on his head
So we threw some octopus shit on his deck and said
"Hey motherfucker why don't you eat this instead!"
He said "I see you sea creatures and I'm gonna eat you too
If you taste anything like your friend I'm gonna cook you up in a stew
I'm gonna make your miserable story end"

So he scooped us up in his net threw our bodies on the deck
Yeah we all squirmed for a second and then he broke our necks

My life as a sea creature ghost began above the sea
With three other sea creature ghosts floating supernaturally next to me
And Captain Ahab's cousin's life as a dick
After that it ended pretty fucking quick
I'll tell you what we did we threw his ass in the brig and then get this we haunted his ship
