Reynard Lewis - The Conditioned Mind

Observe the corner at 10 o'clock
They spraying shots until they peel off from the block
This is common behavior, I've seen enough
And the motive was nothing more than seeing who's tough
It's the wrong time to see who you trust
We lack empathy, and judge one's sympathy
Societies way of showing public infamy
We all have a tendency to show dependency
You would be ill-advised to stay outside during these times
So tread wisely and lightly
Or be prepared to face adversity
That shows no mercy to the opposition, so hold still
Rather than being hostile
An unmarked child, could still be hit cause bullets don't discriminate
But precipitate and won't hesitate
To penetrate and eliminate, til the body disintegrate
Don't be caught lacking
At the wrong place, at the wrong time
Travelled in packs with fools, too scared to think or be alone
But deceived their own to uphold the throne
Cheaters never prosper
Wolves dancing in sheep clothing like Kevin Costner
Friends betraying friends, now tell me what the cost was
Cold-blooded and heartless
Them dark alleys done steered you wrong
Clear these thoughts to help lead and build you strong
Days gone, where I try and separate the good from the evil
But somehow the two just seem equal
The balance is constricted but by a small margin
Never bargain with wise fools, too knowledgeable
Too admit their own faults
And fall face first on the asphalt
Don't throw salt, if you got open wounds
Never become too consumed by a thought bloomed that can be reassumed
So please take control or the mind is doomed
As we presume
The correlation of the orchestration of God's creation
My only focus is to illustrate greatness
Notice advantages and take it
We wasting, a good opportunity
Immune to these cliche favors and mediocrity
Based off knowledge, me and Socrates share the same philosophy
Ethical virtue is worth living for as a human being
Steadily function
One's conjunction of a sacred promise
Spending less time stressed
Rather than being indirect
Giving speech in context but still show conciseness
Lets be honest, we punishing mankind
Escaping the bear truth, fearing that we'll find
Where happiness truly resides
Guess it is what is inside
But the inside was a joke until it was found out by mankind
Thoughts with no real passion
Yo mind is passive
Average, so has your habits
Exceeding, you seem to lack this
Thats backwards
