But compared to masses, I can see my path is more deep than the average
That is why I do speak with a passion, about my allegiance, these demons will never last
Trying to clash in this battle, for my soul
But they know it can't be sold, cause I'm one they can't control
Tried to hold me back like I'm on parole
But no matter what, Imma ride with the light shining bright
Can try to dim me down, but God is on my side
So no matter what you say to me, I can't be misaligned, In these times

Demons get devoured when they try to knock me off my feet
Put them all up on a plate and thank the Lord for another feast

And its better than the flavor of that lack of motivation steak
Made the notion to be focused and never negotiate with my demons
There's no reason to be carrying all that weight
Feeling freedom from distress, got no more grievance cause I'm blessed
They tried to cheat and finess me, still I keep reaching for success
Never lost my faith, but feel the need just confess
That I almost gave it up in the heat of my depression
When my Pops passed I felt the seed of retrogression taking over me
With so much anger and aggression
But I didn't let it stop me, Rest in Peace to my Pops
See I'm doing this for us, with no plans to ever flop, so I hope you know that
