Leo Lovechild - Bad Behavior

I walked into the room
Saw your friends having such a ball
I went down to the dock to be all alone
Hangin' outside with my cell phone
I called up a friend
Who was back home gettin' drunk
He told me I should probably try and stick around
Told me it'd be better when you came down
I pulled out a smoke
Looked for a lighter for about a year
'Til I found one hiding in the map pocket
Passenger side where you left it
Back before the war
Back when we were sometimes friends
Sometimes lovers who just couldn't stand to spit game
A couple scarred romantics stuck on old flames
Now I know a lot of cool cat people
Walking 'round town like they've got it figured out
But they're all just living lies
Spending daddy's money on art supplies
And cocaine when they're sick
Yeah, just really feeling so bad
And it pains me sometimes just to think about
What it must feel like to come down
And have you heard the news
That he dropped right out of school
And no it wasn't due to lack of opportunity
It's clear he's from an affluent community
Now I'm not trying to say
I'm not guilty I know I am
It's just maybe I've finally come to realize
That everyone needs a little help sometimes
So I walked down the road
Had my head sinkin' to the ground
Tried to read between the lines in the pavement
And analyze my own bad behavior
