When I was a child my mother said boy if you say another word

I felt abandoned by my mother So I spent my childhood pissed off and angry
And now I'm grown with children of my own and find that my demeanors not changing

They say that life is a bitch and then you simply just die

I mean if it had been an option I would of preferred to be a simple man
but I grew up a white kid from a broken home that liked rap no wonder I'm a Stan
But I'm doing everything I can to leave a positive impression upon this world
Just like I did the very best I job that I could to raise my little girls
But just because you do the best job that you can doesn't mean that your gonna succeed
And it doesn't mean that I failed just cuz they didn't turn out how I expected they would be
But I love them anyways and I hope they are they are both able to see
But they stubborn just like me I guess the Apple don't fall far from the tree

That regardless of anything I will always love you both Mikaylla and Melodie
And don't ever let this life destroy you to the point you want it all to end
Because I promise it will try make no mistake the world ain't your friend
I know first hand cuz it's tried to break me a time or two and yeah I began to bend
But I learned it can smell blood so don't show it hold your head high and if you gotta you can pretend

What's left of my life could land in a sewer or I could make some kind of a decent living rappin
And even then will I get booed off stage or is the whole stadium clapping
Or do I grab the Glock some sand which baggies some product and hit the block trappin
All I know is I'm gonna make the most of whatever life that I have left to live
And without sacrificing my own values I'm taking this world for everything it's got to give
Cuz honestly life is to short to not give it all that I can
And with that frame of mind I guess you could say it's all pretty simple man
