The mad earth draws us up
Into the curve of a moon's wound
We travel vespertine
Crepuscular creatures

These are
Insatiable fields
Demanding meditation
Pricked by the glow
Of something
Transmogrified
From this life
Or before

Cloak-world opens up
Death brings us on
Dawn is off to call on a friend
Night erupts a tidal wave
The magic dusk
Of our chosen blood
