We're studying in the Bible reading every day
Jesus was born in a stable in the hay
We've all learned about the Christmas story
Child came from Heaven all His glory

Mary Joseph left Nazareth had long way to go
Knew the trip would be hard and slow
They had food water clothes had on
That old donkey and a blanket to ride upon

People in Bethlehem were following man
Living the wrong life didn't understand
Shepherds on their way following the light
Angels told go find that child at night

Wise men were told to go locate that baby boy
King Herod wanted to meet Him and destroy
Wise men brought gifts went back another way
Jesus was the king then and still today

As we celebrate with our family and friends
Wonderful thoughts of presents and love blends
How the greatest gift came from Heaven above
Just to show how much the Fathers love
