Theo Bard - SHOOT FOR THE MOON

Well the waves bear him forward
And the wind's at his back
The only place he can call his own
Is a small wooden shack
Oh but time's not his master
No and money the same
The only calls he heeds
Are for reasons he names
And he's the first born son
The number one in the breed
He doesn't need no one
He's got everything that he needs
He's on his own out there
Without a care in the world
And such a view of sea and sky
The only one asking why
What's going on in there?
He's gonna shoot for the moon
I know his wisdom coming soon
He's gonna beat those blues
Now the years they are passing
Not passing him by
Hours and days, working and playing
Under open sky
And his mind slowly brightens
Like the dawn of the day
Jokes in the day, sleeps sound in the night
Peace has its time
And it's a wondrous time
Now that the lessons are learned
So keep watching the sky
Out at the edge of the world
He's on his own out there
Without a care in the world
And such a view of sea and sky
The only one asking why
What's going on in there?
He's gonna shoot for the moon
I know his wisdom coming soon
He's gonna beat those blues
